All these are Japanese made - Philo is just one of many Japanese brands.

I don't recognise the names you show Uli but, as you say, they were many Japanese makes - maybe it was Greenkat or somesuch. When you speak of Myauchi do you mean Miyauchi? I have a pair of astronomy binoculars by Miyauchi (an Owlet) with interchangeable eyepieces for differing strengths and love them.

 I think I'd remember seeing a SOCO as it figures in a lot of drama we watch - a Scenes of Crime Officer who gathers forensic evidence for the British police. ;)
