Nice - although it's not "prancing" but rather a lion rampant in heraldic terminology. It's also on the Royal banner of Scotland and, as schoolkids, we used to have little flags with them on for the gala.

The lion rampant was also the sign of Richard The Lionheart but I'm not sure if he was pretty (or if he knew it).

Basically lions are courageous but prancing indicates showing off. The modern urban meaning is best ignored... ;D
