A very interesting specimen, CZJ DF 10x.

As you can see in the Blue Book, the entire series of 200 is designated at DF 12x, but this is clearly not the case.

In Figure 1705, which shows #335118, if one looks VERY CLOSELY, one can see that 0 is changed into 2.

Nice one Alex, in which part of the world did you find it?

Yes, this is where the binos are :-)

Peter De Laet

Quite a spectacular find Alex, congratulations! How is it optically if I may ask? Seems we all need to move to the US 😅

Hi Peter,

Of course :-)

Optically it is exceptionally good - much better that the standard DF 10x

Watched fireworks with it - quite a spectacle.

Dear friends

The only recorded examples so far (by me at least) are

335101 DF12x Abbe Konig
335118 DF12x Porro II
335134 DF18x Porro I

Whilst compiling the numbers list Zeiss grouped together high magnification binoculars. So it is quite possible that there would have been a DF10x as well. (such as 335110). Thank you Alex

Sure Thomas,

A pleasure.
